1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster.
A friend of mine owns an unrestored 1948 Chev Fleetmaster which is still in regular use. Photographed with a single convex magnifier element mounted onto a Rolleiflex SL66 camera using Fuji Acros developed in HC110.

Graphic Forms and Shadows
The shapes, form and shadows of the Kim Sacks gallery doors have always fascinated me.

Orlando Power Station
Orlando power station, built in 1938 to supply Johannesburg with electricity, was decommissioned in 1998. Today it is just an empty shell home to graffiti artists and vagrants. During the short visit we learnt that work was to begin in July in converting the site into a shopping mall!

Sani Pass Proteas
I spent a few hours over the weekend shooting proteas on the way up the Sani pass. This resilient and fire resistant bush/tree grows to around eight meters and actually requires fire as part of the germination process. There are some magnificent skeletal remains just crying out to be photographed. Captured on a 5x7 pinhole camera using paper negatives.

I have just finished my 8x10 pinhole camera and will be taking it for its maiden outing this morning. Constructed from Beech, it sports a focal length of 150mm and a 450micron pinhole.

The Quarry
Man's insatiable appetite has resulted in many areas of natural beauty being reduced to scarred and sterile quarries. I came upon such a site recently! The two images were taken not more than fifty meters apart.
A pristine landscape adjacent to an area being quarried for road making fill.
