I spent a few hours over the weekend shooting proteas on the way up the Sani pass. This resilient and fire resistant bush/tree grows to around eight meters and actually requires fire as part of the germination process. There are some magnificent skeletal remains just crying out to be photographed. Captured on a 5x7 pinhole camera using paper negatives.
Really lovely stuff Lawrance. These high contrast scenes really seem to work well with pinhole. Lovely subject.
